  1. Got one few weeks ago, my daugher has since hogged most of the time on it - thats the appeal though everyone can play it.... Next step is to try out the wii fit
  2. A let down Oh no, I wasnt sure about Robert Downey Jnr actually but the more clips I see the more I think he's working it - going to be gutted if its not good now!
  3. Hi guys, had mine replace October of last year, wondered if anyone has had it done, and where there recovery is up to etc.. How long did it take you to get back to full movability at karate, and do you still have portions of your leg you cant feel? Im just at 6 months after the op now, the main problem is that as they replaced the ligament with two of my hamstring ligaments I have quite a substantial deficiency in the strength of my leg now, wondered how people got over this? Cheers guys x K
  4. Cant wait cant wait cant wait - and being in the UK its not open until after you USA lot
  5. Ha ha I know a thing or two about long waits after knee ops, had a major one in October of last year and am just now getting back to the warm up stage (although not supposed to)... Definitely a good idea to keep going to watch, keep your finger in the pie so to speak, its extremely hard but you have to follow your docs advice... Mainly your physio too, Im lucky mine has been very understanding of my need to get back to karate so taylors my recovery around that partly. Talk to your physio and get as much advice as poss x
  6. Must be a glutton for punishment - yes Im back again!! I finally had my cruciate ligament in my knee replaced October of last year, and am starting my loooong rehab!! They say that I should be able to start back karate roughly a year after the op, unfortunately I started back few weeks back, oops, although Im not doing anything too daft!! Anyhoo hope Ive been missed (if remembered at all ha ha!!) Hope everyone is well x K
  7. Last film I saw at the flicks was Casino Royale - just bought the Indiana Jones Trilogy on dvd so worked my way through that this weekend
  8. My house is a consant DIY project - although am rushing now to get it all done for June. Am having a bash for my 25th bday so want the house up to scratch, got so much to do.... This weekend its stripping the bathroom ceiling and rewallpapering
  9. Thanks Heidi - to be honest its a lot worse, have finally relented and taken my physio's advice - I ony train once a week at moment, and thats just at the beginners class where I teach. Just waiting now for my op date..... sometime this century would be nice!
  10. Just tried to load it but the link showed an error Im useless
  11. Cheers guys, hope Ive been missed in my absence You know you all have x
  12. But of course I would be interested In the UK E4 where Lost was previously broadcast lost out to Sky, which I dont have, so I havent been able to watch any of series 3!!!!! Am gutted - cried myself to sleep for first few weeks Any details about whats been going on with you guys?
  13. Good luck Kez, am sure you will do fine. Like you I left school at 16 after having my daughter, but got good GCSE grades. Luckily I have had good oportunities within my varous emloyments and Im now running the Accounts Dept - education ISNT the be all and end all - but in this day and age if you dont have qualifications to back you up you can get lost in the crowd. Am also going back to college in Sep to gain my Accounting Technician Qualification - joy of joys!!! Keep your chin up when it gets hard Kez - it will be worth it in the end
  14. I just bought myself an 8GB iPod nano, and my daughter a 4GB pink one. The second generation type. I was trying to reist the power of mp3 players and I hate to say it - but its mad how something so small can hold my entire cd collection!!!
  15. Hi guys Sorry havent been around in a while - been on deaths door with the flu, infections and ow a chest infection. Also working full time now so things are hectic to say the least. The knee is shattered to say the least, even basic warm ups are hard for me - so am concentrating on helping the beginners one night a week, just doing what I can Anyhoo just thought I'd say Im back - am sure you will be delighted to hear
