we're never really taught stances other than one that are used in katas, our stance for our sparring purely depends on you -
i think the katas should have a clear definition in the hard aspects and the soft but it should also have a great deal of grace as well as proper technique

awesome, in my style that is a blue with one stripe and you learn your first weapon

i say you take some sort of okinawan style that it real close to the roots, so it has all the real techniques. a good one is matsamura seito shorin ryu or matsabayashi shorin ryu -
a low side kick to the side of the knee is how my instructor showed us

go to https://www.karatekast.com and listen to episode one or two and my sensei has a lot to say about those types of techniques, and also in episode four he talks about forms that contain these technigues -

our teacher has taught us to have fear when we're fighting, and that fear is for the person that we're fighting is goin to get hurt. so ive never been in a situation where i had to use it, but if i did i would surely fear for my opponent -
i dont think there is a age that is too young or too old, im 16 and been taken out by younger and older its just how determined you are really

thats pretty much impossible, if there were there would be one system and one alone, all have a history for what they are used for. just some arent practical anymore -
ufc is really a great way to see how some techniques can be applied in a practical way
