  1. Yeagh, I agree, but anyway it's martial art. But when you go to the tourney and you see how fighters with white belts trained by mine sensei easily wins against others with black belts... Then I start to think that those are not worth black belts...
  2. Hello everyone, Let me introduce myself. I'm 17 years old male from Lithuania. Practising shidokan karate. I'm in karate only 2 months but I enjoy it alot. I hope to get my first belt (White) next Sunday. I'll have a test then. I'm almost sure I'll earn it because my sensei says that I'm quite good fighter

  4. A black belt in 4 years - it's very fast. In my dojo we can gain a black belt in about 10-20 years or more because we pay more attention to sparring and competitions.
  5. You've gained a black belt in 4 years ? Well in my dojo we don't practise for belts a lot, we are more sparring and doing physical trainings... Once I saw a tourney where some guys from Russia with black belts lost all the battles against Lithuanians who had only white belts... How could it be ??

  7. Well I'd like to improve my kicks with legs and punches. But I'd like to do it without any equipment because I don't have any... What is the most effective way to do it ? I found some good advice in this forum but if you can give me some more of them I would be really greatful

  9. Well as I'm practising shidokan I think it's quite good for street fighting because there's a full contact in this karate and lots of kicks and punches. I think It's quite good for it

Now I'm practising shidokan karate in a new karate club which has no name and we need a new name because all of karate clubs in my country ( I'm not sure about other countries) has names...   13. Hello, I'm quite newbie at karate so I want to ask you for an advice. I'm 17 and I'm in shidokan karate only 2 months and I'd like to improve my kicks and punches to became a great fighter What kind of trainings should I do ? My sport shape is quite good. At the time being I'm trying to do everything at home what I learn at class. Anyway, any suggestions ?

I know I've started learning it a bit too late but I hope that someday I'll became a great fighter. Anyway... What's your opinion about this style of karate ?
