  1. hmm, i dont know, i still think that cool fluid and focused is better. I agree i could have just kicked him harder in the stomach the first time, but he is pretty strong and he wasnt open. lol, the funny thing is, even though he spent the next day of school in the office complaing about being sick becuase he was embarrassed, now he wants to fight again. I should Definetly say no right? I dont want to goto the point of knocking him out :-/
  2. sorry, i guess you are not familar with slang. when u say like tkd and crap. crap = stuff. i wasnt dissing it. I took ITF till red. I really wanted to know about the world TKD or whatever, Thankyou for the help
  3. KickChick, yes that isnt the whole story, heres the full. I was talking to my friends (other football players and martial artists) about my how i did last friday in sparring and I think that he felt bad that some other larger people than i were showing me respect and listening. He thought i was full of crap basically. You know, Ignorant to facts He walked over to the exit of the school where we were standing, and interupted our conversation and he challenged me. He is actually pretty cool, but like i said, he thought i was making stuff up. So he was mad. So i said no, i have to make up a math test, and then he pushed the me and the door, i stepped outside, and he charged me. The major reason that i didnt include about why i went easy was, after the front thrust kick (which was hard), i did a couple of test round kicks and i saw that he was blocking with open hands. My karate friend called on me to stop because i was going to break his hands. Also, we were right outside the main office, and my chemistry teacher was actually watching this. He knows i take tkd and was interested to see me use it he is a cool teacher, but more in the way of, hmm, i guess the word is oblivion or not disiplinary, well you get the picture. It would have been bad to hurt him too bad. Although, the next day, he came up to me and made me pretty mad. He said that i was a wuss and that HE beat ME up! He said he was going really easy on ME!!! Also he said some other stuff that got me mad and that the people who watched before thought i sucked, u know. So i got really mad and this time in a hall full of people It lasted less than 15 seconds. Im almost positive it was less than that because fights seem to take longer than normal time for me. He took off his backpack and told me he looked up a kung-fu website. I honestly couldnt tell if he was serious, so when he stepped up to punch me, i did the standard double outter form block and number 4 round kick to his stomach. I did it hard too. Im kind of feeling bad now writing this, it pretty much contradicts some of the earlier posts. Hopefully i will learn to focus more and not get angry when i get better. Anyways, after the kick, which i used the top of my foot and part of my shin, i stepped back switched feet and did a number 3 side kick to his stomach. He hit a locker hard and kind of slumped down, then got up and turned towards me, with his hands blocking his stomach ofcourse, leaving his face open to a nice snap kick, and when he moved his hands to fall, his kidneys opened up. All in all i did a backfist too, but i dont remember most of it, i was in adreniline combat mode. I just did a string of combos. All in all, he fell 4 times and finally on the 4th, he grabber my striped button up shirt to stop from hitting his head on the tile. So the end results were, he got pains in almost everywhere on his body, i got a half ripped shirt I had to wear that shirt to do a presentation in world studies and did get a couple of points deducted though lol
  4. I was just wondering, my friends and i were discussing it. I take ATA TKD along with my friend, my other two friends take karate, my other muay thai, my other boxing and 1 more ju-jitsu/wrestling. I was wondering. I have been in fights at school, but the people who have fought me have been the standard egotysical idiot who knew nothing about fighting and lashed out at me for attention. He weighed quite a bit more than me (im 6-2 160lbs) (he was 5-11 210lbs) u know, football player, but one thats on the bench a lot. He charged towards me and i simply did a nice quick thrust kick to the stomach, a round house to the head (softly, just to shake him up) and a spinning side kick to his kidneys (more of a pushing kick than a pop the kidneys kick) that sent him to the floor. He got up and i let him catch his wind, then he charged me again, but this time in a funny looking boxing stance. He was really strong so, i couldnt get hit. Otherwise, he would be on top of me hitting my face as standard school fights go, luckily i had the advantage of TKD to keep him back. I was going very easy on him, despite the danger it put me in. I did a couple more very easy front kicks to test his reflexes and speed and blocking technique and saw that he was blocking with open hands. I did one easy axe kick and landed my foot behind his and pushed. he fell and i casually walked away. He got up but didnt chase after me, he just walked away. My friends and i were debating whether this was the right way to handle the situation. Should i have gone a lot harder at him as my thai boxer friend suggested? I wasnt sure whether to knock him out and stop the danger or do what i did, I really cant get suspended or sued. My friends also suggested groin kicks and things. Have i been sparring to much, or was i right to go easy on a 210lb angry strong person?
  5. WHY? is Itf and crap better? I like ATA, but i havent taken the others enough to be able to tell u guys. I mean, is there any REAL difference besides different sparring rules?
