Hey everybody, I'm interested in beginning a type of sword art, like Iaido, Kendo, Kenjutsu, ect. The problem is, there are no dojos in my area (Manhattan, KS) that teach any of the above, so if I were to learn it I would have to learn from a book or a reputable website. Any thoughts on learning this from books or websites when no instructor is available? Like would I get the real grasp of it if nobody was teaching me directly? thx in advance

Is it legal to carry a bokuto or any sword in america?

Hey, I've looked for places to discuss Iaido but I can't exactly find the right board. since this probably isn't the right place to talk about this style, so could anybody direct me to the location of the board where I can talk about it? thanks
