  1. Yes, watching the eyes to much can lead to the body taking over, dont rely on the eyes all the time though. I find woman extremely easy to see whats behind there eyes.Dont know why, its just the woman are(: Even if you do know something from someones eyes, dont tell them just note it for later. Unless you want to, its up to you.
  2. http://www.gungfu.com/pics_general/pics_weapons/nunchuck_studded.jpg Nunchaku My favourite Weapon aswell as training tool (hand eye coordination) The weapon is used by wacking the opponent with the end your not holding.(Its more advanced then it sounds)
  3. Please , post a picture , label it and describe its use.
  4. Practice Style Nunchaku Step 1 - Stuff you need. 1. 2 ft. of Pvc Pipe 2. Nylon Cord (Get a Pack of 50' x 3/16") 3. 2 Finishing Nails Step 2 - How to put it all together. Cut the Pvc pipe into 12 inch sections. http://www.artoftheninja.com/images/nunchaku/practicechucks1.jpg Drill a hole tinier then the finishing nail width about half an inch from the top of the pipe. Tap the nail through the hole you made. Repeat to the other pipe. Cut the part of the nail that extends through the pipe so it is flush to the tube. Take the nylon rope string and put it around the nail and put the other end around the other nail. Tie the rope and tuck the knot into the pipe. Step 3 - You have a finished pair of Practice Style Nunchaku. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000BVGLH.01-A2T3ASM7TOCPQE.MZZZZZZZ.jpg The images are probably not necessary , but I wanted to learn how to add images to a post. All information from this post is from http://www.artoftheninja.com/
  5. I have been to these forums for 2 days so far , and its great! By the way my name is prounounced MA-Tosh-Ek
  6. A Bear and Rabbit happen to stop in the woods beside each other, and they both start having a crap. The Bear looks over to the Rabbit and asks " Do you have a problem with poo sticking to your fur?" The Rabbit replies, "No, I dont as a matter of fact..." "Good!" said the bear. The Bear picked up the Rabbit and wiped his but with the Rabbit.
  7. When fighting someone, I suggest keeping your distance (if you can) , dodging and reviewing there moves. Try tricking them into there counter attack so you can see what they do, when you do a move. Once you've established there "predictable movements" , move in for the so called kill.
  8. Thanks alot Rich, I'll check those out now
  9. hahaha, thats funny...mcdojo and a happy meal, I'll remember that one.
  10. He was a black belt...but extremely underestimated my scrawny friend. Never ever underestimate someone
  11. Well, Im not really getting bored of what im doing... im just looking for something *new*, lol. Anyway to answer your question I am trying to loose extra body fat , and get toned. I do not want to get "hulky" as that slows you down a tremendous amount. I am started running today.Theres a old horse racing track which is exactly 2 kilometers , so I run half of it a day which comes to 1 kilometer! (this is where math comes in handy lol)
  12. Well my knife was expensive, it was a gift(: The knife is perfectly balanced, extremely high carbon and extremely sharp...untill i broke the tip off of it.... A good throwing star is a common "gear" that has been beveled on its teeth. Extremely heavy and accurate. They stick in the sides of panel vans...lol
  13. I have been working out for 1.5 months and I have notice improvment. For the first 2 weeks I did 20 sit ups Then for 3 weeks I did 25 sit up For the next 3 weeks I did 25 sit ups and 15 push ups For the next 3 weeks I did 35 sit ups and 20 push ups And for the last 3 days I have been doing 50 sit ups , 25 push ups , a series of stretches , 5 minute horse stances , knuckle holds and some flexing. I dont want to do sit ups anymore, there ineffective and i just learn they can cause serious problems, please suggest a workout(or more) wich would be suited to me.I would greatly apreciate it.(:
  14. Your absoloutely right ronin, some blak belt are cocky. I have a very close friend who had this incident with a black belt... A big husky guy started to pick a fight with my scrawny friend. The big husky guy started spouting off that he was a black belt, and was going to hurt my friend. The husky guy attacked my friend but made one fatal mistake...a ciggaret, he didnt take out his cigaret! So what basicly happened is the big husky guy got his own cig shoved down his throat , then he was choked with the cig in his throat. My friend is extremely fast and thinks of the smallest details to use against his enemies. By the way... he only learned from books.
  15. Do you have the ability to know when a enemy or even loved one is lying to you? What do you see in peoples eyes?Delight , fear , and emotion are a few of many aspects of eyes. Some people beleive it a gift, but I believe everyone has the abilty to to see whats behind the eyes. One thing thats ussually mistaken for hatred , mischief and other evil things is "shifty eyes". Just because someone has shifty eyes, does not necisarely meen there up to no good. Try observing peoples eyes a little more, and you will see the truth.
  16. I am wondering where I can find a book (or website) which shows some kung fu basics. I would like if the book (or website) had plenty of pictures ,diagrams and anything else you can think of. If you do you of a book (or website) that has these thing...please post them here.
  17. Oh I forgot to ask you what your avatar meant...my meens "strongest".
  18. Hello, thanks for that info. I did not realize those moves til now. Oh and yes , the bo is a versitile weapon that is ussually lying around everywhere! Brooms can be used as a weapon, just like the bo...just make sure you dont crack your brother on the head with one, lol.
  19. I like "nunchaku" (not nunchuk) and the bo the same
  20. I love throwing knives...there not as an effective weapon as a throwing "stars" but they are fun to use. I broke the tip off of mine): (High Carbon...60 $...)Now I have to patiently file it to a point...
  21. I think they are a fun skill to posses, and training with one is also good for "hand eye" coordination. I was sweeping the steps ( with a broom) and decided to get fancy... i accidently hit by brother, lol...
  22. What does everybody think of nunchakus? I think they are great for excersizing your rists , hands and arms. I also think they serve as a great " hand, eye " coordination training tool. So, thats my oppinion...whats yours?
  23. I have been doing sit ups (30) and push ups(25) for 2 months now (ive been a bit flabby) and it has been improving my strength and lowered my body fat. Now I would like to know some of the techniques which other people have devoloped, please share them with me! (Im bored of push ups and sit ups)
  24. This may seem stupid to you but please be patients and help me out! Really,Please lol, anyway here goes... I have recently noticed I have gained about 25 pounds and not grown an inch taller(i used to be really scrawny). This happened over the course of 5 months. I finally said to myself " Dont loose your body , be determined enough to bring it back" so I started doing situps(50), then push ups(25) then knuckle push ups(25). (they hurt at first) I have had little inprovement to my weight but , I have been slightly toned. And I grew taller! I have been working out all summer , and im still not satisfied. Shouldn't I be loosing weight at a higher rate? Why did my arms hurt like hell that august morning? Im a 14 year old male , 5 foot 4 inches , a little stalky (I used to be scrawny) extremely fast reflexes and moderetly strong. Oh and I heard somewhere that I was building up for a growth spurt. Ok now that "thats" out of the way...what martial art form should I take up? Excersizing is ok, but I also need some discipline, so martial arts was my first choice(martial arts is also excellent knowledge to posess~~Knowledge is Power~~) So please help me out. ~Matousek~ Ps. I also play the guitar ( a form of discipline and good for hand strength)
