  1. I have studied TKD and have taught TSD and I agree with TangSooGuy. The main difference between the two is the primary focus of the art. I say this with all due respect to the TKD guys out there, but TKD does tend to be more sports oriented than TSD. But then again, I did my TSD training in Korea which is a totally different animal than training here in the U.S.. TSD has all of the same kicks as TKD, but we focused more on hand techniques, throws and even ground fighting. IMO, I felt like TSD provided more "real world" training than TKD did.
  2. I'm new to this forum so first off I'll say Hello. I have 2 leg stretchers and one of them is like what you are describing. Mine is made of PVC pipe with foam padding where your feet go. I've had this one for about 15 years and it still works.
  3. I just joined this forum and wanted to say hi. I have studied and/or taught martial arts for 30 years and have a couple of black belts. Some of the styles that I've studied/taught are TKD, TSD/MDK, Hapkido, Aikido, Ninjutsu and ju-jitsu. I'm looking forward to learn from the members here at KF.
