  6. lol thats the good thing about my school .. we learn things all the time .. i've bin goin 3 months and im doin black belt stuff ... we dont really hav a syllabus which is a shame but its good all the same http://zhong-ding.com
  7. lol cool btw does any one know of any wushu schools in the uk ? preferably in the midlands

I have taken an interest in wushu i want to gain the flexibility and strength for my benefit ... i hav a club local to me but i was wondering if it would be too much to take on a third art .. is this so ??? if i started wushu i'd be training 2 hours tai chi mondays, 2 hours kung fu thursdays and 1 half hours wushu fridays .. is this all too much for me ?
  9. as you block side step a little .. less force needed and u gain a side avantage too
  10. yeah i hav 2 lessons a week one of which is REALLY hard... once a month we all meet up and do a 6 hour training session in tai chi ba qua and san shou ... hurts like crazy ... u'll get used to it soon... theoritically

  12. does any one here do traditional or modern wushu .. i heard that they use lots of jumps and spins
  13. LOL... satellite i read that and can almost do the butterfly move .. im just not parrelel to the floor enough .. needs more work

  15. yeah thats my problem ... i cant find any where near i live that teaches .. does anyone know of a club like this in the UK ?
  16. has anybody tried doing any of these moves .. like the butterfly twist/kick, tornado kick 540 hook etc... will these help me with balance etc ? i tried a butterfly kick but im not sure if it was right .. worked though i lifted off from my right leg whil throwing my arms counter-clockwiseand lifting my left leg into a sort of outside round house.. once my legs reaches vertical i pushed off with my right leg and took into the air ... i spun about 360 - 540 (not sure) and landed on my left leg ... wots that called ? Does anyone else do similar moves for fun ? http://www.ashleybeck.com/help.htm these do require a larg about of flexibilty .. in the one i did in the lower back ( which i found out lol)[/url]
