  1. The only problem I've had is trouble doing pushups during the conditioning part of class

  15. I'm not having much trouble at all with applying pressure with the kneebar. I'm actually learning it from an Ippon Seio Nage fake, then roll to the side (like a granby), and apply pressure. If you need a secure grip on the leg, try putting the foot in your armpit. I've never drilled it from a guard-pass, but I'll be covering that my next class.

  17. I have a few untrained friends who are planning to put together a "Backyard MMA" event. I'm considering fighting in it, but if I get injured, my parents would go CRAZY
  18. You have an ego there kid, and you'd better put a govenor on it, and your mouth down a bit I think, or somebody that's got a bigger ego and mouth, and far superior skills..will do it for you. Thats why I want to compete, to know if I'm any good or not . I do well in sparring, but I don't go 100% in sparring, and most of my training partners are much bigger than me. I competed in wrestling this year for my first time, but lost every match, racking up an 0-7 record . (One reason my dad won't let me compete). My dad might let me do Greco and Freestyle to prepare for next wrestling season . However, I want MMA, Kickboxing, or Submission Grappling experience.
  19. I just don't like girls who are too much into trends like Skateboarding and Hip Hop (Hip Hop hobbies I can deal with, as long as they're not too obsessive. I've had a girl who stopped liking me because her friends didn't think I was a "thug".)

  22. I'll just have to wait. However, My dad's friend's son competes in Karate. My mom justifies it with "He does Karate, that's chinese stuff. They don't hurt each other" I personally think I should start challenging martial artists in my area, and making myself an unofficial MMA record.
