  3. teaching or coaching in our club requires the coach or assisting coach to do some formal qualification i.e. work or dojo based, where you get assest on ability and knowledge on and of the dojo. but with the coach also come the insurance. i dont know what every one else does, is this common through out martial arts now. please tel me. i have seen good black belt teachers and really really bad black belt teachers, but still have (sometimes) the knowledge, but have been able to get advise from begineers and lower belts on how they find things been explained to them or are they able to explain it different as sometimes they can teach me something!! any one can teach any one else really
  4. A club near (East Yorkshire, England) us has a contract or a bank account contract, via a direct debt, possibly similar to gyms through out the world, (i dont know i have never been to a gym) and he charges so much per month, so much start up fee and then a lesson price on top of all that and licenses and equipment and then if you want to stop it costs to stop it as well. i have known people forget about it and loss alot of money. not a good idea a contract sorry.
  5. what about if they can teach it, use to do it in competitions, but are unable to do it now due to ill health (hearth conditions). he can describe it all to me about the application and shows little bits, but unable to do the kata all the way through. hopefully will be better after the operation. but yes when he did do it it was excellent.
