  1. Streetfighters are people that don't know how to fight or even defend themselves in a real situation where they got to.
  2. If you're talking about the level ranks then Muay Thai goes from Level 1 to 2 and then 3 the final stage but this process takes longer like when getting a black belt.
  3. The TKD style you are referring to with elbows and knee strikes is Tae Kyon, the old style of TKD.
  4. In BJJ there are I think only two BJJ organizations and that is the Gracie Academy and the Machado Academy, But I have no idea about the Japanese Jiu-Jitsu style.
  5. In San Shou I've heard there are taekdowns that you could and I've been wondering if this is true?
  6. Any martial art works when it comes to street fighting and it's how well you adapt to it that counts.
  7. High kicking like roundhouses, side kicks, and etc isn't a good strategy when in a street fight because chances are low and it could be caught even by a person that doesn't have martial art training and it's just sticking to punches and just throw mainly punches is the key weapon and for kicks just stick to low and mid range kicks.
  8. Yeah, I also agree and any martial art would be excellent when crosstraining with another.
  9. These two arts are yeah both grappling arts but Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has more tatical techniques than Judo where that is Judo has more takedowns some derived from Japanese Jiu-Jitsu I think and In my opinion the BJJ practitioner would win if they had a fight like on the ground because BJJ ground game is more pure.
  10. Kajukenbo, a Hawaiian martial art. Here's a little more information on this martial art at https://www.kajukenbo.org/history/
  11. The kinda kick I saw was in the Korean Tigers demo video clip and the korean dude did a 720 spinning heel kick and that was amazing and I'll post the video later on...
  12. Me and my friends just Box in the yard or the backyard because he only has Boxing gloves so we Box and we just go all out full-contact and we go like 5 minutes for 3 rounds and that's all.
  13. "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" - Bone Thugs N Harmony "Hit em' up" - Tupac "Numb" - Linkin Park
  14. Yeah, Muay Thai is the best art for striking and some people but majority refer it to Kickboxing but there's a huge diffrence between these two arts.
  15. You'll always have to think that you can kick him in the middle part of his body and I mean the stomach unless it's blocked and you'll have to watch when trying to punch a Boxer coming from a Boxer like me because the Boxer would just either slip, bob, or weave or possibly parry the punch.
  16. It depends if it's the same martial art they're practicing but switching from another organization, When you got to another martial art you'll have to start out as a begginner In my opinion.
  17. This is a very interesting topic, If you're a good martial artist than go join the UFC, I think they have some amatuer fights first but it's all up to you.
  18. That was a nice spinning heel kick, thanks for the pic Dijita.
  19. Capoeira is a deceptive martial art which there is no use to block because you mainly esquiva(dodge) the attack, I love Capoeira and I would love to take it but I will after i'm done with my TKD training. Capoeira is a beautiful art and I don't know why it gets bashed so much like all of the other arts.
  20. I'm in the A.I.M.A.A. Tae Kwon Do organization and we're mainly ITF but we can sparr in WTF style also and when I sparr in WTF I just use the rear hand kept by my chin and my front hand like right down by my waist area but when I do ITF style sparring I keep my hands up.
  21. I saw in one of the Black Belt Magazines that Chuck Norris was a 1st dan or 2nd dan I think is was in Tae Kwon Do but he might have took up Tang Soo Do also.
  22. Well I think it is because now there are new grappling systems like Ground and Pound and all of those other MMA Grappling Arts so maybe Judo would be a fad and also I think Jiu Jistsu would be one but probably not Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
