  1. lol, good typo Delta1!! Grappling curses...I'll have to remember that the next time my Sensei does a grappling lesson.
  2. Well, try out each class and see which you like the most. As you say that you're lacking as a puncher you might want to look for an art the concentrates more on punching rather than kicking or grappling. I hope you find something you like, however, be careful not to overdo it. You already train 7 classes a week - that's already a lot of training, without adding a new art on top of that. If you feel that you're lacking something in your current training you might want to think about switiching completely to an art that will encompass all the things that you are looking for in it. That way you probably wouldn't be overtraining but you'd still be learning the things you want to learn. Good luck!
  3. I like to take a warm bath after a strenuous workout, especially if I've been doing a lot of weight training, as I find that it helps me relax and prevent muscle soreness/stiffness the next day. I wouldn't want to take an ice bath, though...brrrr....
  4. Well, it's obvious that the weightlifting is affecting your ability to sleep, so if possible, try to move your lifting sessions to earlier in the day - try getting up earlier so that you can train in the morning instead of at night. However, if you can't lift at any other time, then try relaxation exercises and breathing techniques to help you sleep, or have a short meditation session before bed. Having a relaxing bath with a calming fragrance (such as lavendar, chamomile or sandlewood) might help too.
  5. Good luck! Don't forget to let us all know how you get on...
  6. Yup, in my opinion wierd is good. I have to say that because I'm a little on the wierd side myself...
  7. Yes, yes and thrice yes! One thing you can say about Britain is that we really know our puddings. Scrummy! My particular fave out of that list is sticky toffee pudding.
  8. Very cool, thanks!
  9. Well.... it smells like tobacco, but actually tastes quite nice. It's a bit more herby and woody than regular tea, but with still a mellow enough flavour to appeal to most folks.
  10. GOOD LUCK TED! Osu! I hope that you pass! Don't forget to let us all know how you get on.

  24. I love any sort of tea. I'm really into drinking Redbush (Rooibos) tea at the moment. White tea is great too, IMO.
  25. If you want a weapon from my car, then paperwork and filing is what I can offer. I'll clobber any attackers around the head with my work files and give them some pretty nasty paper cuts...
