  1. Me too... I love music. My dad always says that my house is like a branch of HMV (UK music store!) as there are so many CDs about. Still, there's always new bands and albums emerging that I'd like to get the CDs of. I like so many bands that it's always hard for me to choose a particular favourite. I like Blondie, Green Day, Rammstein, God Forbid, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Flogging Molly, Pantera, Send More Paramedics, Iron Maiden, Cold, Wednesday 13, Nirvana, Entombed, Rancid, Black Sabbath, Emperor, Foo Fighters... the list goes on... Oh, and my own band too - Son. I play bass guitar and sing a bit too. Still, I think my favourite of all time has to be Queen. RIP Freddie Mercury.
  2. Yes,Truman Capote did write Breakfast at Tiffanys.
  3. I've edited the poll to allow for an "other" category, as not everyone would choose one of those bands on the list.
  4. I train with GM Kongjie Gou and Master Liming Yue of the Chen Tai Chi Centre. There are 'real' Tai Chi teachers out there, same as there are 'real' Kung Fu teachers. Often, though, people who train in Tai Chi don't know the difference between 'real', martial Tai Chi and some fake copy of Tai Chi that an instructor has learned on a week-end course... It is often only those who are already martial artists who understand that Tai Chi is much more than just beneficial for health. Too often Joe Public trains in a Tai Chi class but doesn't realise that there is much more to TC that what they are actually learning and practicing.

  21. I like The Great Gatsby, but it's been ages since I last read it, so I can't really add anything useful to the discussion of it without reading it again. I've just been re-reading Truman Capotes novels and short stories. If you've not read In Cold Blood then you so should!
  22. Ah, well, I never said I found them scary... That was just a list of movies I liked. I don't scare easily - I thought The Exorcist was funny and most slasher flicks are amusing too. One of the few films that scared me was What Lies Beneath. But that was more 'jumpy' than downright scary.
  23. Yes, that would be great krunchyfrogg.
  24. I like drawing... but I can't do it very well. I prefer using clay.
  25. It is indeed.
