Glad to hear from you Kicks, keep on fighting! Sorry to hear about your recent troubles mate.

My dad and I are still working on doing up an old VW Beetle. We've been working on it for donkeys years now, a little bit here, a little bit there, whenever we have the time. I don't mind it taking so long, though, that's all part of the fun! It'll not quite be the same when it's actually finished and we need another project... As for cars in general, I love Jaguars, but my finances only permit me to drive a little Ford Fiesta.

I'm Female and 26, although feel about 96 at the moment due to a rough training session tonight! BLOWN, happy birthday for later!

I LOVE Rock and Metal! Currently I'm mainly listening to Emperor, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Opeth, Poison The Well, Zyklon, Probot, Amen, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and Send More Paramedics, as well as old skool metal like Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Megadeth, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Queen etc. I also like punk and I've been into the Dropkick Murpheys a lot recently as well as Rancid, The Distillers, Ramones, CapDown, Pennywise, Black Flag, Boing Boing Boing, NOFX and The Bouncing Souls.

My sig is pretty self-explanatory - don't be too hasty!! The link is to my local Ice Hockey team, who are (naturally) the best team in the world.

My karate instuctor is tough but in a good way. He's a great friend but no-nonsense ('old school') in the dojo too. You certainly know you've had a hard session when you train with him!

Feel proud that you're obviously so much of a great role model to this kid! That's a good thing to be - children really do need positive role models in their lives, of all shapes and sizes.

Cool! Sounds like it was a fun time. Moral: never underestimate people with dangly earrings!

A very important point.

I've been watching, especially the ice hockey, as I love it! Sadly, Team GB haven't got an Ice Hockey team at Torino, but they've not managed to qualify for the Winter Games since the 1930's. Still, we've got a lot of good young players coming up through the ranks at the moment in club level; one kid to watch out for is Jonathan Hayes (under 15's) - in a few years he could be playing for NHL, he's that good. I hope he stops and plays hockey in England, though - my team could do with someone as good as him at the moment!!

My sympathies to his family. MA will be a poorer place without him.
