its a traditional dance the fighters do to pay respect to the gods their camp/trainer and the other fighter they do a counterclockwise circle of the ring to deflect any outside wishes or whatever from comin in the ring; they want their fighting spirits to come together naturally one on one most of the time one fighter wont watch another fighters ram muay so that they can go into battle not knowing what to expect this almost as important as the fight itself each camp has its own ram muay can u believe an american 14 year old knew all that spiritual stuff? BOO-YA I'M BAD!
ok to the guy that actually started this thread not all of the people wanting to prove they know more about it than the next person u should probably try them both out a little bit to actually tell the difference and possibly choose one if u already havent
i am 14 years old and i would probably find another gym if i was told to be in the childrens class not really because i want to be considered an adult but more because i want my skills to be as high as possible and if u were to put him/her in the childrens class it would slow him/her down tremendesly because it wont take him/her as long to learn it as a small child would u should probably discuss it with him/her and if they want to stay in the adults class then try to convince them to work harder than ur usual student and try to be patient (all this is assuming that they arent just small bodied even for a 14 year old) (this also refers to the beginning question)
"On one famous occasion, Hong Kong's top five Kung Fu masters were dispatched in less than 6 and a half minutes cumulative total, all knockouts." https://www.kickboxing.com but everybody can be beatin by any style
and muay thai is quite a bit more brutal because its a gainst the rules to stop fighting even for a breather or atleast in thailand it is plus u have to do the ram muay before fighting
