Yeh i dunt like much martial arts as i thought all the fancy stuff wudnt help you in a fight untill i heard of Muay Thai and saw some lessons of Zen Do Kai what i like about Zen Do Kai is it's the best of everything in progession and does include basic muay thai and elbows and knees [ This Message was edited by: Liam_Sullivan on 2001-10-02 05:50 ]
yeh pretty much I had my 2nd itro class today i learnt the kata i tihnk its called where u have too do like throws an stuff got my 1st class tomoro night hope too advance pretty quickly through the ranks im gonna work pretty hard on my conditioning escpecially my shins
Probably not cos it's only in Australia and New Zealand but it's like 1/3 muay thai 1/3 grappling and 1/3 old style stuff from karate and stuff like that just wanting too know you thoughts on it if you have heard of it.
Thanks all do i use a boxing bag for these kicks youse talk about and do you have too be pretty pain resistenet too toughen up your shins cos right now my right shin when i push down on the lower bit its hurt so shud i rest it or do light kicking/rolling
Oi does rolling a glass bottle up and down your shins work cos some guy i know told me thats how you do it and also what bag shud i get like what the ideal weight for a begginer of Muay Thai
