Thanks for the update, Bob. I understand it is a mixed bag, but glad to hear the general positive news regarding your cancer!

I was a few minutes away from putting a ticket in (we rent). They've been great, but still... this is better!

Hey all, I just noticed that Brian reached 30,000 posts back in December! Of course, while post count in and of itself is not something to aspire to, in Brian's case, I think it's a real testament to the quality time that he has spent in this community, and it is incredible to consider the number of people he's encouraged, asked thoughtful questions to, and helped in some way. Congrats Brian, and thank you for everything that you have done over the years. Patrick

That's awesome! Congrats! Love the connection to Noah.

We caught a cold last week, so we were able to get through that over the weekend. And the dishwasher wasn't draining, but I jiggled the drain tube and it just started working, so I'd say that's a win.

The Official National Hockey League Appreciation Thread
Patrick replied to aurik's topic in General Chat
The owner of the team I am playing in fantasy hockey this week has checked out because he had Kirill Kaprizov on his bench and missed out on a 12.2 point performance. -
Haha, I totally meant to say Minnesota when I typed Minneapolis. Forgot which one was the state, I guess. That's awesome. I'm also not much of a fan of the digital pinball machines. I get it - cost and maintenance-wise, especially, pinball machines can be so expensive - but it just doesn't feel the same. I hadn't actually thought that hard about arcades outside of the U.S., so I'm glad you brought this up.

Totally get what you mean, Ken. Also, I just looked up Zorbaz - looks fun. I see they are a regional chain in Minneapolis. Always interested to discover new regional chains when we travel.

I am a little behind, but I *just* saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and I loved it. It was really fun. Spoilers below... I love the idea of the mutants teaming up and having fun. Their personalities were hilarious, and having kids voice the turtles was genius, too. Was just super fun.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Montana. It sounds like you have been through a lot. I'm glad that you are in a good place regarding your own diagnosis. I have heart issues in my family. My grandfather had at least one heart attack without realizing it. Definitely something I think about.

That's awesome, Bob. Hope you can get some peace from now to March and that it allows you to focus a bit on the diabetes stuff. Patrick

Hey folks, I'm really late in posting this, especially since some holidays (like Hanukkah, which I celebrate) are already over, but... I wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy holiday season. Thank you for enriching this community with your time, thoughtful consideration, and knowledge, and for making it a part of your life. There's a lot of ways to spend your time, and you choose to spend it here, and that's never lost on me. I hope that 2024 is a great year for you and those who matter most to you. Thanks, Patrick

Sorry Bob. That stinks.
