TKD, Another thing about the net, is nothing should ever be taken as true or be a given. I am not saying that I don't trust my users, but I have a common understanding of the net that I don't believe everything I read. I agree with the other people on this thread. And Sai, I like joking around. Today (which is also my 17th birthday ) marks the six month anniversary of the launch of KarateForums.com In just six short months, we have 17821 Posts, 272 users and 1187 threads. Anyway, for six months, we have done quite well.

I don't exactly agree. Buying a new comp every few years/upgrading to have the games play correctly is going to cost quite a bit, while PC games aren't that much cheaper. I buy a new system every 4-5 years. I agree on that. But its the same with computer hardware.

TKD, There is a theory in regard to this. People can say things online that aren't true. You get advice from them or not. What you say that you study, isn't neccessarily to be taken true by anyone else. Asking online what knowledge people have isn't gonna be that important. That said, most people are honest. And at times, a White belt gives better advice then a Black belt. Keep it all in mind.

Well, no Nintendo system is for "kids." Thats just something that people seem to think. KSN, Yeah... free?! Awesome. Get me one. lol The PS2 is still a good system.

We went and got one at midnight, when it became available along with Madden 2002. I like it a lot so far.

Ok, one thing is that on the net, sometimes things don't work and sometimes they do. Sometimes its not my fault. I'll look into the Links problems, but the other sections do not have problems.

No not right now, but I agree that it would be a good addition. I doubt it is possible with that chat room... but I will look into it.

KickChick, It'll work great. Here is why: The questions will STOP. Because I will make them stop. We will play the game and then everyone will understand how it works. It will be fun. If people don't visit the forum at the right times, they are risking being voted off. It is all part of the game. Everyone, just sit back and keep the questions to yourself. You will understand it more as we play.

Unless your name is Patrick or James, the annoucements forum is not for just postion unless you get special permission to do so. So, just wanted to make sure you know that now. In other news, I hope Josh gets back soon so that he can run Survivor.

Wait wait wait. GoldDragon is running this, no player will be doing anything. I will be approving challenges because I know how it goes as I have been involved in this before. You will submit votes to him and I will have no knowledge of anything that I am not supposed to. The basis of the first challenge will be the most posts. You will not know from what post count, it will be kept secret. Cheap posts are discouraged, but are NOT to be complained about by players. I will be closing the entire game threads forum for this specific purpose. Thanks.

Ok, here is what we are going to do. This isn't gonna happen THIS fast, so slow down guys and have patience. The first challenge, which will be something to do with posting we have decided on it already, will start on 11/24. Karateka will be going somewhere from 16-18 and so will I from 21-23. Hopefully in this time Josh will get it together a bit more and get things typed up so we can go forward. Thanks.
