  1. Never said you had to slow down. Post in Game Threads however much you want. But in Martial Arts posts, just make sure they have content is all. Thanks. I appreciate it.
  2. Welcome Joe. Kicker players a lot of Game Threads.
  3. Because of my birthday, I am now 17.
  4. Do you mean that it will be hard for us (U.S.) to beat them? Well, I guess that is generally right. But, we will eventually thats for sure.
  5. Joe's been gettin' busy. Just make sure all of your posts have content and you'll do great. Welcome to the site. Glad to have you.
  6. I just found this post... looking at some of Jack's posts... and all I have to say is: Nobody deleted it, most likely and that if you bit back and forward and then your message is gone: thats not us, its your computer! Thanks.
  7. Thanks. I did have a pretty good day.
  8. Work Web Development Sports Finance
  9. Maybe in the future we could have a text only version of KarateForums.com Forums. ... maybe not. This page loads pretty fast. I am less than 56k.
  10. Not off the top of my head, no. I myself am not a fan of newsgroups. We could have usenet ones on KarateForums.com (I think). But I don't want them. They are similar to forums anyway and we'll be having an Articles section here in the future. Thanks.
  11. I will comment on a few things. I disagree with your steriotypical points on Nintendo making games for little kids. Donkey Kong is not for little kids... I think you want to see Blood or something and THAT is for "big bad" Adults or something. And thats wrong. Nintendo's "efforts" have always been top notch in my opinion. They do what they do well. The Gamecube is an excellent system. I believe that it all events out expense wise for system vs. computer. Both of their pluses and minuses and in the end, it is the persons preference that makes the decision. In the future, I may play games on both. But right now, my computer is mostly for business.
  12. Thanks guys! Yeah 17 Lars. Well... I got a total of $58 in cash/gift certificate. Some accessories and Mario Kart for my Game Boy Advance. Some other small things... and I have some more coming. Thats about it.
  13. Oh I've already seen that. And commented on him wearing a Yankees shirt - if he was really a fan or just wearing it.
  14. Thanks Kickbutt, Saint, Jiggy and Kicker. iamrushman - I already shave. Kickchick - Thanks. See what...?
  15. TKD, Another thing about the net, is nothing should ever be taken as true or be a given. I am not saying that I don't trust my users, but I have a common understanding of the net that I don't believe everything I read. I agree with the other people on this thread. And Sai, I like joking around. If there is one thing I want this site to be, it is fun. _________________ Patrick O'Keefe KarateForums.com - Administrator/Grandmaster iFroggy Design - Affordable Web Design and Development [ This Message was edited by: Patrick on 2001-11-21 08:07 ]
  16. Today (which is also my 17th birthday ) marks the six month anniversary of the launch of KarateForums.com In just six short months, we have 17821 Posts, 272 users and 1187 threads. Anyway, for six months, we have done quite well.
  17. I'm like the family member you all love to hate. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
  18. I don't exactly agree. Buying a new comp every few years/upgrading to have the games play correctly is going to cost quite a bit, while PC games aren't that much cheaper. I buy a new system every 4-5 years. I agree on that. But its the same with computer hardware.
