As aefibird said, this is not politics forums. Non MA related political discussions are not allowed here and that is what this is turning into. Regardless of what you think about President Bush, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan - those issues are not relevant. You have to take this in its most general sense. Forget the US. Forget Iraq. Forget the whole world. What it boils down to, is this: one man wanted to do something (professional football, in this case). He achieved this goal and his dream. He then felt that his country needed him and he gave up his great success and wealth (if only temporarily, at the time) to fight for his country and lay his life on the line for the sake of freedom. Far better a man than most of us. With that in mind, I am going to close this thread because it has served its purpose as well as for the fact that political discussions are inevitable. Thank you.
