  1. Cool. My parents have one and it is very useful.
  2. Yep and you do. You're posts are of a very high quality. (Rereading that post, I hope it's not read as me taking anything away from high posters... totally not the case. Sai was a fantastic poster, like Brian, as well. )
  3. Do you have a GPS system in your car?
  4. What is one place that you'd like to go that you haven't yet been?
  5. No prize. heh. I haven't always been the top poster. SaiFightsMS had more posts than me at one point. Post count is great, but not the most important thing.
  6. Hello, Today marks the seventh anniversary of the launch of KarateForums.com. It's always amazing to see how fast time goes by. I've been managing this site for seven years. Wow! Where did they go? We have a lot of members who have been with us for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... 7 years. Where were you in your life when you first found this site? Where are you now? Some things have probably changed through the passage of time. In light of this accomplishment, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has visited, supported and positively contributed to KarateForums.com. Thank you. This is a special site and you are one of the reasons for that. One of the other important elements that makes it special is the staff that helps me to manage the community and to ensure that we are meeting our goals and maintaining the environment that we have here at KarateForums.com. This includes past and present staff members. Currently Heidi, Brian, Danielle, Eric, Rusty, Ed and Nicholas. Thank you. I'm happy and proud to see the site reach this point. Thank you, again - for reading and for visiting KarateForums.com. Sincerely, Patrick

  8. This bill has passed the Senate. Now, the Senate and House have to go over any differences before it gets sent up to the governor. http://www.wztv.com/template/inews_wire/wires.regional.tn/21d89eb1-www.fox17.com.shtml
  9. There is a new musical called "Bruce Lee: Journey to the West". Here is some info: http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/6420ap_wa_theater_bruce_lee.html http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=565746
  10. Yeah, it's kinda funny to see all the states doing the same thing one after another.
  11. We've always had Nintendo systems. We had an NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64 and GameCube. I also got won a couple of Game Boy Advances, so we have those. I have an Atari 7800 (and some 2600s) as well as a Wii. One day if I'm rich, I'd like to have every system.
  12. I think you will catch me eventually. I look forward to it.

  15. The California School for the Blind has a Karate team. http://www.ktvl.com/sports/karate_1186394___article.html/pass_blind.html Pretty cool.
  16. Thanks for the replies so far. Yeah, there are a ton of threads where you can say what MA means to you in detail, but I thought it'd be different to have to say it in one word.
  17. I thought this might be an interesting exercise. Now, I know you can't describe the martial arts in one word - or even a thousand words, necessarily. But, for you and for what they mean to you... how do you complete this sentence? "The martial arts are ."
  18. For those that watch a lot of videos on YouTube, what are your favorite channels?
  19. What video game consoles do you own?
  20. NetNewsledger.com reports that a "martial arts move" led to a misunderstanding at Canada's House of Commons on Monday. See here: http://netnewsledger.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=667&Itemid=26 Thought it was kinda funny.
  21. http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idUSN1631324020080516 Not every MA film has to be serious fighting! There has to be some light hearted stuff, too.
