  1. http://www.variety.com/VR1117991624.html Could be the closest we've come to a new Ghostbusters. I wish they would have made a sequel earlier. I was such a big fan of the first two films, had Ghostbuster figures, the central station, etc. I hope this comes to fruition. Via Digg via Ain't It Cool News.

  13. Unfortunately, we have not received enough interest to allow the league to draft (the draft was scheduled for today). So, I have gone ahead and deleted the league. Thank you to those who expressed interest. I'm sorry that we were not able to go forward with it. Thanks, Patrick

  23. I like it in and out of the theater. When you go to a theater, you are in a public place and you have to be willing to give as far as what would be your ideal experience. If you want everything perfect for you as an individual, just wait for it to come out on DVD. There's nothing wrong with popcorn. It's actually a pretty quiet food, compared to various others. I read some of the comments and I just think some of those people want to be a little too controlling. Like one guy complaining about people making "digger motions" with their arm. So, what, people can move in a repeated fashion when they are sitting in a theater? It's just a part of the experience.
  24. Hey Ryan, A lot of it comes down to cost. Though there may be healthier choices in the same price range, there is also plenty of stuff that is worse. It's not affordable to go out to eat for lunch every day. For the price of one plate of ravioli at a good Italian restaurant, you can get, what, 10 cans of Chef Boyardee? My family was/is upper middle class (I guess) and what I would eat would be things like leftovers from the previous night's dinner, a baloney sandwich, a cheese sandwich, maybe macaroni and cheese once in a while, etc. Subs were more of a special thing due to the cost of assembling them and the fact that the ingredients expire. (If we're talking about a true sub... bread, mayo, mustard, deli meat and cheese, tomatos, lettuce, onions, etc.). If you'd like something different, price it out and make a suggestion to your parents. At the end of the day, you have to be thankful for being provided with that, though, and I'm sure you are. There's a lot of people who would be quite happy to have it. Happy eating. Patrick
