  1. Cool. Hahahaha, Danielle. I received some cordless headphones (Sennheiser RS 130), a Flip Mino, a Jim Gaffigan DVD, a Jack Bauer t-shirt ("Jack Bauer... can choke you with a cordless phone"), a water bottle that filters water and lots of other things, some money, etc. Patrick
  2. What goodies did you pick up this holiday season?
  3. Welcome aboard, Turtle. Happy to have you.
  4. Haha. Good one. I have the DVD, so we actually watched it on Christmas Eve. We also watched the Homey the Clown Christmas skit from "In Living Color." Christmas Vacation is a favorite of mine, too. If Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and the Harry Potter movies are under the category, I like them, too. Elf is fun; saw the end of that last night. How the Grinch Stole Christmas is another one. Patrick
  5. No problem. I'd hope, for the ones that remain, it's just bravado (i.e. "no road has ever stopped me!") or a lack of knowledge (it doesn't look that bad on a map, according to that link you posted). I'd have to believe that there may already be maps made specifically for truckers that cut out as many dangerous or small roads as possible. If so, that might be an idea for a new product. Patrick
  6. This article talks about the top 25 Christmas movies: http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/movies/chi-top-christmas-movies-081216-pg,0,818790.photogallery This made me think to ask: what are your favorite Christmas movies? Via Digg.
  7. Welcome to KarateForums.com, Lupin1.
  8. No problem, BDPulver. I remember seeing something about that road, Bob. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/dragon_faq.html - good that truckers are not taking the route as much anymore.

  10. Thanks for the replies Alex, Jay, Danielle, Ichi_Geki and joesteph.
  11. Haha. Yeah, I know what you mean. If it's fun, it's fun. Everyone needs an outlet.
  12. Thanks for sharing that, BDPulver. It even has it's own Wikipedia page! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_Of_Death_Road Patrick
  13. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/transportation/4338387.html Some great pictures. Via Digg.
  14. Welcome aboard, polax. Glad to have you. Nice replies, WireFrame, mr_obvious, Tiger1962 and Ichi_Geki. Patrick
  15. Cool. I've actually never played WoW. But, of course, I know people who have.
  16. From reading http://www.gamespot.com/ds/action/dssupermario4x4/review.html, it looks like they had a multiplayer mode but it wasn't like the game itself, etc. So, no, unfortunately.
  17. Yeah, it is all of some importance, at least, depending on your perspective. When it all comes together, that's what will be most enjoyable, more than a game who just has one of the two things (gameplay vs. graphics). I like to explore, as well. I've been playing a lot of co-op Call of Duty: World at War zombie mode with my brother lately. We're on the last of the four maps now and it's fun to explore them and find everything together, while zombies are coming. But, we'll go back and play the other maps, too. Man do I wish we could play two player co-op online with two other people, though. Patrick
  18. http://www.destructoid.com/mario-64-once-had-a-co-op-mode-156090.phtml Cool to consider. Via Digg.
  19. Great replies, everyone. Welcome aboard, Biskit. Best of luck!
  20. Glad that you enjoyed it. The trick in game difficulty is it being difficult, but not too difficult. Hence the introduction of difficulty levels, I suppose.
