On monday I might be taking a test to achiev the 3rd Kyu (brown belt) in shotokan karate. My only questions at the moment are: 1 - Should I be worried about properly executing bassai dai? 2 - What are the tips you can give me to excel amongst the others?

I don't know, maybe because its the first one I've learned with faster combos and technique variety. I just like it's swing, its also the one which provides me more fun. And I think its a beautiful kata.

I love doing bassai dai, however I'm not 100% on it yet, as soon as I get there kanku dai awaits me!
