  1. hey, Just to ask all of you to say a few words because all senseis are respected, and this is your chance to show it. My Senseis are Sensei Steve Leak, Sensei Carrie Bates And sometimes Sensei Tobias Reece, i have the upmost respect for them and they are some of the most finest people i know Angela karate international black belt schools Uk yellow belt.
  2. I am new to kobudo, just to say hello Angie.
  3. I am a member of sensei leak's club, or school if that is what you call it, I enjoy going there because, I started training because i thought it would be fun, although i was right , it is alot of fun, karate now means more to me, it is my way of life now. just as a school does, it has provided me with more dicipline and understanding of different ways of life. Sensei Leak's club is full of energy, and that is what i like, if a club was dull and lifeless, where there was no sound or fun, as we sometimes have a few games, and groundfighting, point: if there was no energy or fun in a place, i would not go. I go to karate every chance i get, Bramley AND Redhall. I love it, karate is now a part of me Angela, 7th kyu, yellow belt
  4. hey darryl, I didnt know that, thanx for pointing that out ANG
  5. that is true, you have to grade for your white belt in kobudo, just as in any other martial art -------------------------- ang, yellow belt
  6. I agree, as tobias said, Sensei Leak gets pretty good Nanchaku from leeds, i myself have some, not marked yet, bye, Angela
  7. competotions are not all about winning the medals, thaiboxerken, its about taking part, knowing that you are showing your best and having fun! you have a point, it is a great feeling when you win, but you have to remember, have fun and DONT push yourself too hard Angela
  8. you are right, karateronin(sensei leak!), never, ever be intimidated by your apponent, if you lose self confidence, you lose the fight, always remember who you are and what you stand for, your apponent may be bigger than you, but if you believe in yourself and dont back down, you can become stronger than them. I have said before, if you beleive more, you can acomplish more, and your apponent WILL be defeated Angela
