  1. just wondering what stretching exercises your club uses, and how effective they are? we do alot of stretches, mainly on the hamstrings, and we also have a stretch machine for ppl who want to use it to be able to eventually do the splits
  2. we usually let white belts/newcomers start sparring after a week or so, and its not at full strength for a little while, until they are confident enough. usually when the student is ready
  3. well i just started kickboxing (aside from tkd), and our instructor makes us kick this big truck tyre... hurts like hell first few times, but after a while u get used to it. the trick is not to kick so hard until your shins can take it.
  4. one that kills me is doing quick sets of pushups, starting at 50, then 40, then 30 etc all the way down to 10, and then one last set of 20 oof i cant move after that
