kali i a very efective martial art,you said when am i gonna have a pair of kali sticks or a knife on me, or something like that. almost anything that could be used to blugeon could substitute for the kali stick, and knife is self explanitory. its a very common and easily obtained weapon and you could jus carry one with you.

definately go with boxing, even tho' they train with gloves. i always felt that if you hit someones face hard enuf to break a knuckle then the fight might very well be over with that. -

i would recomend muay thai, its got the hands and feet your looking for (plus knees and elbows) it should compliment your JJ well. -
theres a kettlebell clinic comein up soon in my area, still debateing whether to go or not.

try looking for the Insanto acadamy home page, he has a list of all of his certified instructors and their location, phone #, web site ect. Hope that helps e-mail me if you need more info.
