  1. Try this site. It has several models, and is pretty reasonbly priced. http://www.supportsusa.com/arm/shoulder/index.htm
  2. You have to make sure the muscles in your hand are tight at the time of impact. If they are loose, not only is it harder to break, but it causes more pain. The bones move around, Not Good.
  3. In a fight I would go for a ridgehand or a knifehand to the side of the neck. It's hard to miss and very effective. Have a friend try it on you, not to hard. Your knees will buckle and you will see stars.
  4. I am grateful for the diversity of the blackbelts at my dojang. I have found with each different body type comes different strengths. Young & Svelt: speed, height of technique, power Older & Frailer: balance, accuracy Larger & Rounded: more precise in katas, stances & lines of motion Each group teaches me something new.
  5. Spar someone who does the deep exhales with every move. You will find many get winded very quickly during sparring because they get accustomed to breathing at that rate.
  6. McDonald's!!!
  7. Just wondering what everyone's favorite drills are? Bag Drills? Target Drills? Floor Drills? If everyone contributes, we can all build a good database of drills to use in classes. I am currently a trainee instructor and am having trouble coming up with drills.
  8. I am interested in something like UFC for women. Does anyone know of anything like this? Are there other women who would also be intersted?
  9. Our TaeKwonDo rank order is: White Yellow Green Senior Green Blue Senior Blue Purple Senior Purple Red Senior Red 1st probationary bb 1st decided bb 1st senior bb and on up
  10. For me, I am in the middle of my longest wait, 6 months from 1st degree bb decided to 1st degree senior. My instructor is a 5th degree bb. He is in the middle of a 5 yr training period before he tests for 6th. Our highest ranking person in our national organization promoted in September to 8th degree, after a 7 year waiting period.
  11. 28 here
  12. My hardest technique is a butterfly round kick. I can do a butterfly inside crescent kick, but not round kick. I also have difficulty defending against it in sparring. I always try to block the first leg coming around and get hit with the second
  13. Sounds fun! Count me in.
