  1. I have been boxing for sometime and although striking wise I am primarily a boxer I am trying to incorporate some muay thai kicks and eventually karate/kungfu ( but thats a different story) anyway back to the main topic How many of you have had success combining boxing with the muay thai kicking technique. You see in boxing conventionally speaking you have your weak side forward sideways and some space open for the back leg to open up for powershots. So I am wondering how do you incorporate them kicks, knees and them elbows in there?? Do you modify it? or do you switch back and forth from a boxing sideway stance to squared up muay thai kickboxing?????
  2. Greetings from canada... Heres a little introduction My name is Dan I have been in martial arts all my life and tried some kungfu/karate,wrestling,judo etc... But two years ago I discovered boxing and overtime I was able to express that traditional martial arts through the art of boxing. Which made me realize that boxer that dont practice martial arts are missing out and vice versa. Martial Arts gives boxers a good flexibility ( VERY IMPORTANT!!!! ) not for kicking but loosening the hips and taking your power to new heights. Also you become more creative and less prone to injuries and better sense of thinking and etc... Oh and boxing gives the Martial Artist some serious weapons and fitness great cardio workout and dealing with punches in self-defense situations and etc... Thats pretty much it here to introduce my background boxing/general martial arts and have some good talks. Thanks Best Regards Dan
