  1. well from the way you said it, it sounds more like a sprain, but I could be wrong
  2. They have them at most gyms over here, don't know how popular they are elsewhere. Basically its a gym class where everyone is on bikes and the trainer at the front makes you do a set of racing or off-road "courses" to music. Like this. Wow, I see how that could really get tiring, I should try it sometime
  3. I would like to try a spinnig class, could you link a video or a site on how to perform it? I never heard of it before I'll see if I can edit the poll and put a option for both, although with some votes already cast, it might mess up some of the results [Edit] I can't change it

I know some people preffer riding a bike to running because i may be easier on them, I would like to know how many people ride a bike to running and vica-verca and explain why you preffer that better. Personally, I like to ride a bike, but it's not as much of a workout, you need to ride a bike longer to feel the same as if you ran, I don't really like running, but it is better in my eye's, so I say running

  7. thanks, it's really good to be back, during my absense I have gotten in really good shape to, so perhapes I can do many other varies excercises I couldn't do and become better in martial arts overall

    dojo decision

    as far as I know he never closed before, but the reason he closed was 2 things, his wife wanted to divorce him, and with the issue of him keeping his kids, and that made it so he couldn't get any insurance for the dojo
  12. I have been standing on one leg for 3 minutes each leg, I can tell my balance is increasing, thanks guys
  13. well, being in karate I now a little Japanese, not much though, and my my school, it's mandetory for you to take up to 2 years of Spanish, so I can speak in it fairly well
  14. I say roundhouse kick, Its my strongest kick and I can get relitivly high when using it

    dojo decision

    I heard about the new dojo from one of my friends that I have been training with, he called and the dojo is isshinryu mixed with kenpo I think he said, and the sensei was the one to mix them together, my old dojo is just isshinryu, so I probably will try the new one for the change, and then, I can make a decision, I also have a taekwondo dojo near by, but thats to many styles of martial arts at once for me so I'll go with the new one, and make a decision when the old dojo reopens, so that way, it'll be easier
  16. yea, I never had good balance, with me being slender and 6ft 1in, I have a high center of gravity so, I just move easy
  17. well I have a karate dojo that I can go to, I have a ride and everything, but I talked with my old karate sensei, he said that he's re-opening in the summer, so I have a choice, just keep with the dojo I'll currently be at when the time comes, or go to his again, but I'll take both if I can.

  19. well, in the fittness area, I'm pretty good, but I realize, I have terrible balance, I cant do many things that involve balance, and advice on getting better balance?
  20. I've had memories like those, but I can figure out why, I even remember what didn't happen... it confuses me to no end
  21. I haven't heard anything like that, but, all I know is a few japanese words, begin, sparring, opponent, teacher, master, and 1-20, but I guess I'll need to learn more incase I join a MA that I need to do that for
  22. today, I had my friend over so we had a competition I did 80 pushups, 100 crunches, 20 squats, then I practiced kicks, punches as well as the seisan kata
  23. well, I want clothes that are long enough to fit me, because I haven't stopped growing, Im 6'2'' , other than that, I want to get equiment so I can work out at home easier
