  1. using your hands would be the best bet. i wouldn't recommend lifting one of your legs.
  2. Kensai, i dont understand your comment. if someones going for your legs their not gonna go flying over you if you fall. when you shoot, you aim for between the hip and kneecap.
  3. from 1 to 10 (10 being the fastest) how fast do you think you are?
  4. i know that most moves aren't planned and are just done on instincts. but what if a skilled shootfighter shot for your legs? what would you do? i bet 99% of the answers are gonna be "kick him" (on a different note, i've had problems where people only think shootfighters try to tackle you. please dont think that, its not true)
  5. just eat as much as you can. i eat 6 small meals a day (sometimes 7) doing that will help you from getting sick due to eating too much at once. i know what you mean about wanting to put on some weight. im currently trying to reach 205 lbs. how much is 10 stone in pounds? im guessing 100 lbs. but i dont know.
  6. why did you start in the MA's? i've always been a bit of a fighter and taking shootfighting is alot of fun for me.
  7. Kensai, its almost always the person that wins the fight, not the style. all a style does is "help" the person become better.
  8. it seems to me that you're a really active person. maybe you dont have anything to worry about. being as active as you are you should burn alot of fat everyday. thats just my opinion. i know nothing about keeping weight off because im trying to GAIN weight at the moment.
  9. my style is shootfighting. im not training specifically for the UFC but i wouldn't mind competing in it someday. Weak: size matters more than in other MA's. no spiritual stuff or kata's or anything like that. Strong: its complete. there aren't as much restrictions as in other MA's. example, if my arms are clinched, a head butt is just as legal as a takedown. a skilled shootfighter should be able to hold his own against anyone(im not saying beating the other guy, but he could still hold his own because it all depends on the person)
  10. theres nothing wrong with full sit-ups. actually i dont understand why some people ONLY do crunches. i guess it basicly depends on why your doing situps in the first place.
  11. So what are its main attributes? i dont undersand what you mean What styles does it take influence from? Muay Thai - i guess because we use elbows and shin kicks Jui Jitsu - grappling and takedowns i actually like to think that its a style of its own (im probably wrong but thats what i like to think) Does it teach you more than just hurting people? again i dont understand what you mean. if you mean spiritual stuff, thats up to the person but theres not any in shootfighting that i've seen. i just got home from training and im tired so sorry if i didn't explain good enough. i'll try to find a good site for you to look at.

(im tired, if that didn't make sense then just ignore it )
