well im not sure i am kinda like you and him i try to make everyone happy so no one is mad that is how people walk over me so i would say he is just kinda like me and people take advantage of him but you need to tell him it is getting old and tell him your not going to take it anymore -

kinda my sensei i studied with for a long time taught an awsome style but then he went out and tried to make his own and it wasnt so good so i left but i couldnt find any other teachers of the style in my area so i went to a different school -

i think it is possible to hit somone in a certain spot and have tremondous effect but i would not try it in a street fight because it all might be fake -

yes my sensei has trained in jujitsu and bjj and grecko wrestling and is one of the best grapplers i have ever seen and i have trained in 3 other arts -

i would go with goju ryu because i trained in shotokan very linear hard style my friend trains in it though and loves it so whatever you like i recomend going to both schools
