Orbital is great if you just want instraments.

If you don't have Kazaa, get it. http://Kazaalite.com is a great place. You can download music. The RIAA, yeah right!

i always thought it was best to meditate in silence, but i'm by no means an expert on the subject.

if you get kazaa, be prepared for a whole lot of viruses.

somethings always puzzled me about meditation music.

surely if you need music to meditate then you're not really meditating....

Well Enigma don't do chants, they do little singing parts kinda. They are good to meditate to.

...The music can aid in meditation. During meditation, the brain waves slow down to the alpha and theta ranges. Dr. J. Thompson has cd's especailly designed with binurial beats which help entrain the brain to that level. The music is pretty non-thematic which helps you ignore the music and concentrate on the path to your goal of the meditation.
