will56 Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 http://www.smartgym.ie I seen this in the sports store the other day and was wondering if anyone ever used it or something similar to it. I was thinking of using it to add resistance for kickboxing training and to use it as a home gym. Any comments are welcome.
Tombstone Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I'm not sure how good of a workout you could get from that. The only thing that I've really seen bands used for was warm ups. I guess it depends on how you use them.
Tibby Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Yeah, they are great for warm-ups and other light work. PT's use them, as light weight resitance for people in therepy. My advice, don't waste your money. Go to a sporting good store, invest in some rubber tubes. Same thing, but a lot cheaper. Tie a knot around your ankle, and BAM, intance kicking resitance. One more thing, that chick and that guy, I can garno-damn-te you they did not get those body's with that POS system. I'm sure you knew thatt just thought I'd add it.
