Martial_Artist Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 Nothing less than 100lbs. 70lbs is too light, 40lbs is an insignificant weight to work with, and anything less will only hinder the development of kicks and punches. (excepting a speedbag for punches) Been using several for over 20 years. Excellent piece of training equipment.
