MawashiGeri60 Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 how does it strethen the wrist . forearms . what movements or techniques does that kata have for that ??? and what style do you do of karate ?
KarateKid7 Posted September 20, 2003 Author Posted September 20, 2003 basically it is a very flowing kata with alternating motions of the wrists. it rotates the wrists and streches all the muscles, tendons n ligaments n stuff and if u do it properly, ur wrists hurts afterwards! its from kung fu apparently and for my shito-ryo style, where our guard is almost a vertical wrist, its useful for wrist flexibility "Life is a journey, not a destination""Absorb what is useful, reject what is useless""Knowing is not enough, we must apply.
