Black Dragon Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I'm gearing up for my next test, and I'm trying to think of some breaking techs, that are kind of unique something that nobody else would have done, something that the grandmaster may enjoy seeing. (Wood or Concrete.) So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
battousai16 Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 try talking it out with the wood/concrete. persuade it to break for you. if it doesn't, don't fight with it, just walk away. i wonder if anyone's ever tried that... i think i will... see how that goes. kchenault Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 ROFLMAO. That was good Batt. What did you have in mind Balck Dragon? How far along are you? Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!
Black Dragon Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 going fo' 2nd dan So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
kchenault Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 You should try something really flashy with multiple breaks. One or two hand techniques that end in a flying reverse kick over several people. Something crazy. What have you done before? Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!
Black Dragon Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 I want to do palm strike (3 boards) Elbow strike (3 boards) front snap kick (2 boards) Palm strike (4 bricks) Other than the amount broken, the format is kinda boring So recognize or be hospitalized Cuz literally on a scale from one to ten I'm 25.
kchenault Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I would have to agree. Try throwing some jump and flying kicks in there if possible. Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!
Sens55 Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Can't say I can tell you. We never have a choice. When we go up the instructor tells us what he wants us to do.
TKDLadyInSC Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Upset Ridge Hand. When I did it, a 3rd degree commented that he would have to try that. 1st Degree Black BeltTaeKwonDo
Pacificshore Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 How about a break with a back flip or front flip in it? Or you could do like one guy did in one of those televised MA tourneys on ESPN, and stack alot of bricks.....do a running start, and bust through them with your shoulder .
