monkeygirl
I was reading my school's "blue book" (student handbook/rulebook) today, and some of the rules made me laugh .... not because I think they're silly rules, but because I imagine someone must have broken them in order for them to be placed in print so prominently. For example, there's a rule about ball throwing in the buildings, and at the end it says: "throwing snowballs in the vicinity of buildings or carrying snow into buildings is forbidden." That just makes me think...has this always been a written rule, or did it go without saying for awhile, until some troublemakers decided to have an indoor snowball fight... It's sort of like when my dojo buds and I would go to the local Pizza Hut on a weekend afternoon...we'd get rowdy and have paper football fights with the paper placemats, spitball fights with the paper napkins, etc...we'd always clean up after ourselves and none of the restaurant staff ever complained, so we just kept on doing it every time we went there. Also, we were usually the only people in the Pizza Hut at the time. Suddenly, however, changes were made in the restaurant. Paper placemats were a thing of the past, and the waitress delayed giving you silverware and napkins until the pizza came! It's really funny to know that we were responsible for that. I guess Pizza Hut never complained to us because there were 8-15 of us at a time giving them business. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard. battousai16
in my freshman year of high school, me and my best friend were having a snowball fight, and i ran inside, and he came in after me and thew it! i ducked, and he nailed the principal in the back of the head! his face got so red and he started shouting at us! we could have been suspended, because that is a rule in the student handbook, but his secretary burst out laughing when she heard it, and then he started laughing, and each of us got away with just a detention. ah, good times, good times. suzana, holy cow! and i thought my teachers were weird! i'm in an on going argument over who's better; batman or superman (batman of course) with my ap european history teacher. he told my sister one day that i was really annoying this year i could be in trouble... SaiFightsMS
Going back to the rule about not throwing snowballs near the building. The winter I was at Ft. Devens we had a lot of people in the company who had never seen snow before. The first snow just happened to be an all day deep one. That night there were company wide snow ball fights. A few windows did get broken. Fortunately not non of ours. I never did find out what happened to the culprits if any were pinned.
monkeygirl
i'm in an on going argument over who's better; batman or superman (batman of course) with my ap european history teacher. Yeah I used to argue heavily with one of my best friends (who is obsessed with superman) about who's better: superman or spiderman. Of course he would say superman so I'd say spiderman just to set him off. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard. mArTiAl_GiRl
i'm in an on going argument over who's better; batman or superman (batman of course) with my ap european history teacher. he told my sister one day that i was really annoying this year i could be in trouble... an european history teacher argueing about who's better with you?? ....AAAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! What a freaky european teacher. And snowballs? My class is the worsest in the school who throws snowballs. Every winter, the boys in my class throw snowballs inside, in the class. They use to bomb others in the coridor too And then they always throw the girls in my class. Usually, they chase me with snowballs and I'm like: run for your life!! But you know what's so good with baltic girls? We're the same worse as boys, we throw snowballs at each other all the time, every break, (we're a bit child-like, lol). So the whole class is full of melting snow. One of the girls in my class is a real devil, she loves throwing me with snowballs. So she always says: SUZAAANAAAA!! And then we run out of the class, we ran in the coridor, down the steps and so on... It's kind of funny. And she always miss me. I'm like: haha Kill is love
