Yeah I just checked the term was Shihan

 

So it does mean Master Instructor. Very good I figured it was something like that thanks a lot.

I've heard it defined as "Chief Instructor" as oppose to master instructor but its 6 and two 3's because they both maen the same thing really.

Shihan: A formal title meaning, approximately, "master instructor." A "teacher of teachers."
