JLee Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 ouch guys! my only serios injury was when i broke my wrist and had to wait 1 day for an appointment with a doctor and the next day they put my bone back together, thats about it..
Oni Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 The injury I got was actually quite funny. I have been hit with baseball bats, sticks, dropped brick on my feet, hit by a car, rode into a wall on my bike, severed a tendon in my left hand trying to shut a door but the worst was definately my collarbone. I broke it playing rubgy and it was pure agony to walk or have and pressure on my arm so i spent the rest of the day sat down. I got to hospital at 6pm and wasn't seen till 9pm then was told I would have to have an X-ray which wasn't done till 12 but I only got painreleif ( i.e tablets) at 11.30. aefibird Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Some of the worst pain I've ever been in was post-operative, after surgery on the tendon in my left foot and also after different surgery to have my tonsils removed. I've also been kicked in the head by a pony, which has left me partially deaf in one ear. The same pony also kicked me in the ribs on that occasion, breaking 3 of them. All I can say about the encounter with that pony is...OWWW! The little 'cherub' also stood on my foot, just to round off the indignity. The kick to the head was some of the worst pain I've ever felt. Most recent injury I've had was on Thursday, when I dropped a metal weighlifing bar on my bare foot, whilst trying to tidy up a bit before class at the dojo. "Was it really worth it? SoonerJohn Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 I had a kidney stone when I was 17, absolutely a debilitating pain. I've broken a rib and it wasn't even close to the amount of pain I had with the kidney stone.
ProjectJanus Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 A foot to pants connection with a German steel-toed boot. Couldn't walk for more than a week. There will always be the Jackie Chans and Jet Li's who will come along and dazzle us with their screen antics. But Bruce Lee was a seeker of knowledge, a true master of the fighting arts and philosophy.

Etybolik Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 when i was 12 i slipped out of a tree and during the decent managed to catch myself with my arm causing my head to slam into the tree. I fell the remaining 15 feet landing on my arm. my arm had been injured the week before.
