stonecrusher69 Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 A question I teach Chinese kung-Fu in a park because the local rents in my area are very expensive.I like to keep my class small. I live in NJ so inthe winter I have a problem.Does anyone have any sujestions http://www.youtube.com/user/sifumcilwrath"When the student is ready the master will appear"
G95champ Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Look into a church or YMCA. Both usually are cheaper however you have certin ruls you must go by. The only other thing would be to teach out of your home which may mean moving into a bigger house or apt. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
Icetuete Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 is joining a school as an instructor an option for u?
CW Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 One thing to look into is your Park & Recreation Dept . If you are involved with a church, talk with the pastor and tell him what you are wanting to do. Some pastors are open to martial arts and some are not. I am teaching out of my church and it has worked out great. Also, if there are any health clubs in your city, talk with them too. Best of luck on finding a place
GrrrArg Posted August 9, 2003 Posted August 9, 2003 Over in the UK the church is actually encouraging some vicars/pastors/priests to take MA due to increasing violence to wards the churches and their vicars.
