ever try plyometrics? do press ups and on every 'up', push off the floor and clap your hands before falling back to the floor. It increases your fast twitch muscle fibres. let me know if it helps! :idea: :karate:

I'll move this to the Health, Training and Fitness forum. While you're over there, check out some of the other threads, which have some tips for increasing hand speed as well as kicking speed. :)

practice i think.

I am still training however, having dabbled in Shotokan and Shotokai Karate. I am please to report that Kenshukai is one of the strongest and most disciplined styles ( i did not write this)
