SaiFightsMS Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Hello and thank you all. I cannot imagine living now without some kind of involvement in the martial arts. Kickbutt there is a vast amount of material on the martial arts on the internet. Maybe your friend would enjoy doing some research? She might learn more about what makes you tick.
Iwant2BaDragon Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 orr poor you. The first time I did karate I got an amazing buzz, a feeling of strength that seems to never ceases growing. However I did ballet for 10 years and often had this problem with spinning and you shud try to move your head as little as possible because its the liquid in your ears which causes this nastiness. Focus your eyes on a spot infront of you (as far away as you like) and twist your body then quickly at the end of the spin turn your head and search for the focus spot again. :pony: Empty your mind : be formless, shapeless like water. Now you can put water inot a cup and it becomes that cup. Now water can flow and it can crash. Be water.
Joecooke007 Posted November 25, 2001 Posted November 25, 2001 This is generally not a good sign. You may want to start with your spinning kick on the ground and doing them more slowly. You may also want to rest for one minute in between kicks. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
