Shotokan_Fighter
id prefer the makiwara and heavy bag over the woodenman, i havnt trained with a woodenman, but i dont think id accually want to. Tibby
I tihnk a Heavybag. Never tried a wooden dummy, and a good, solid canvas bag can be a great Makiwara, with a good cardio workout at the same time. With a Makiwara, your hitting a flat post, with a Canvas bag, your hitting more of a rounded surface, more like a human body. So, if it is a Canvas heavy bag, then yes, I'd pick that over the other 2.

G95champ
Im a fan of the heavy bag you can do more with them. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."

Ironberg
I say heavy bag just because I think it's a great thing to have when you're having a really bad day.
