battousai16 Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 hey, i hear ya monkeygirl. i'm trying to learn trigonometry by myself over the summer so i can get a free period in my day once school starts. it is not an easy task, i'll tell you that, my friend. now if you don't mind me, i'm going to through my text book against the wall, go to the corner of my room, curl up into the fetal postition and go cry because the math gods hate me "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
SaiFightsMS Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 Oh Trig. Shuddering. I was so good at trig in high school I got to take it twice.
battousai16 Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 i hear that too. i was so good at algebra they had me take it again to see if i did so well it because of a fluke. at least that's what i keep telling myself "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
Valithor Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 What elements of trigonometry are you learning? Need any help let me know... Keep Smiling!
battousai16 Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 nah, i think i got it, but thanks. it's just frusterating because while my friends are running around doing fun stuff i'm in my basement learning trigonometry or reading the rise and fall of the third reich, which is very long and dull and the author keeps going on weird tangents. hey, bored person, would you like to do my trig homework or write my book report for me? GrrrArg Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Hmm my maths teacher had a nervous breakdown in yr11 (which is a big test year in the UK (gcse's)) but fortunately i still came out with a B, althougth it makes me wonder what I could have got..
battousai16 Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 we have a science teacher at my school who's a vietnam veteran. sometimes certain sounds will trigger memories and he'll freak out. he told us to get something out of our bags, so i put my bag on the desk, but it knocked my book on the floor making a loud "bang" sound. he screamed "JONNY NO!" and dove for the floor. we were all dead quite for the rest of the class period.
