fireka Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 in times like this i like to start deep, rich, intellectual thought provoking conversation stimulated by the theorys of great minds through out the ages....can anybody else tounch there tounge to there nose? "i could dance like that!.......if i felt like it...." -Master Betty
monkeygirl Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 I used to be able to...then my nose grew and my tongue shrank or something. I can, however, touch my left ear with my left hand. Sound easy? Not when you first wrap your left arm around the back of your neck until it's out front again, and THEN try to touch your ear. I have no idea what posessed me to try this one day...just laying on the couch and bored, I guess. It took me quite a few tries at first, but eventually I got it. During this time, I discovered it would be quite easy to break my own neck while doing this! See, usually I can grab my jaw very easily, and from there work my way little-by-little to reach my ear, gradually stretching my shoulder out. If my shoulder muscles were really tight, I'd be putting a lot of stress on my neck. Usually I'm pushing on my left elbow with my right hand, so if my shoulder muscles were tight and I suddenly let go.... *SNAP!* Yup, I came up with that one all by myself! 1st dan & Asst. Warp Spider Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 You could let loose a burst of fully-automatic firepower. (preferably not in the general direction of anything valuable.) It does wonders to alleviate boredom. Paladin - A holy beat down in the name of God!

sansoouser Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 Why not go do something you are good at? Practice Practice. The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain.

monkeygirl Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 The first time I studied trigonometry, I literally felt physically exhausted. All that sine, cosine and tangent stuff was really mind-boggling at first 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
