I am wondering if anyone has information about this. I am looking in joining a school in the area. We have a TKD and a TSD, but I don't know if there is a difference in the styles and which is better to do. I will be checking them out. Any help would be great.

i have studied both over the years, my advise is to observe the classes and to see which one you like more.

some schools will be more similar than others, it depends on the outlook of the instructor and how they interpret their particular art.

I did both also. I agree with the last two. I do TKD MDK, which is so similar to TSD MDK that it's not funny. Chen has the best advice. Observe both classes to see what you like. It all depends on what you want out of MA.

I agree, check them both out. I have studied both, and enjoyed both equally. Visit some classes and talk to students, etc. There are some differences but are quite similar overall-depending completely on the individual school of course.

 

Yes, they are both similar. See if the schools offer free lessons. Try both...the Instructor(s) and your dedication is what will make the difference...not the style.

But, the TKD.. are pretty nice, if i compare to TSD.

 

The problem reside on the teacher, the majority of teacher, have problem with teaching the good techniques, and u receive a bad education.

 

take a Free lesson, and choose, the style you prefer... it's the best method.
