Still can't find it; the lack of responses indicate it is either rare or nobody that knew it was around when you posted.

I've looked up the name in a Jap/Eng. Dictionary but the word is not listed, anyone know what it means?

I think I found it. It's gisen or seisen meaning "crusade" or "military expedition."
