mikS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 No, definitely realistic at all. It will take a year, 2 years?? who knows, but definitely longer than 6 months
Pacificshore Posted May 19, 2003 Posted May 19, 2003 BKJ1216, Since this is all new to you right now, just keep an open mind and absorb all you can. Listen and learn, train hard and all will begin to fall in place as it should. In the end only you will know your true abilities. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
GrrrArg Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 The time it takes varies from person to person but I would agree that after six months your probably just going to be getting used to the new techniques your learning and therefore will be alot more rigid than you would have been before you started training. Things get worse before they get better.
shaolinprincess Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Six months might be long enough to be broken down to the point where you wouldn't be sure what to do. I think it would take longer than six months to build off of your "breaking down", learning self control, then to be able to properlly defend your self in a street fight. It's what you put into it...1st kyu-Okinawa Shorin Ryu Matsumura Seito Federation
