babysteffee Posted September 15, 2001 Posted September 15, 2001 Jeez, this week is just going from bad to worse...Two-time CART champion Alex Zanardi lost both legs Saturday when his car was hit by another traveling about 200 mph in a race renamed the ``American Memorial 500'' following the terrorist attacks. Can this week possibly get any worse?

babysteffee Posted September 17, 2001 Author Posted September 17, 2001 No idea...probably around the same.
BlueDragon Posted September 17, 2001 Posted September 17, 2001 Actually they make alot more. I'm not sure but I think Schumi is pulling down about 45 million a year. Formula 1 is actually bigger then MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL combined. "Excuse me while I kiss the sky" -Hendrix
iamrushman Posted September 17, 2001 Posted September 17, 2001 well thats good; because they need a much better insurance plan for things like this ......... rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
babysteffee Posted September 17, 2001 Author Posted September 17, 2001 Hmmm, still, I'm not sure I would do something like that, despite the large amount of "danger money"... I know accidents like this are rare and all that but it goes without saying there's a risk with jobs/activities like that.
